(RCPP) Building Fire Resiliency in California's Coast Range Forests and Grasslands
The RCPP is the Regional Conservation Partnership Program with the tital Building Fire Resiliency in California's Coast Range Forests and Grasslands. The project has brought federal funding to the region to support financial and technical assistance to deployment of fuel reduction, post-fire recovery, and reosion control practices in high wildfire risk ares in Colusa, Lake , Mendocino, Napa, Solano, Sonoma, and Yolo Counties in California. This grant allows funds for implementation projects that reduce wildfire risk, improve environmental conditions following recent catastrophic wildfire, and encourage landowners and managers to proactively reduce wildfire risk in forestlands, scrublands, and oak savannah in this region thus restoring and protecting valuable wildlife habitat, water quality, agriculture production and watershed function.
