The CCRCD in partnership with the Inner Coast Collaborative, led by Napa RCD, was awarded capacity building funding from the Regional Forest and Fire Capacity program by the Department of Conservation. The CCRCD has been able to fund and hire a full-time Project Coordinator for our fuels and fire resiliency projects, purchase supplemental office and field equipment to help conduct boots on-the-ground work, as well as help our staff build capacity by attending events like Conservation Planning and CalTREX Prescribed Fire trainings to help us be better prepared to serve our communities through this program.
